Banana Walnut Loaf, ‘Kek Pisang Walnut’
- Preheat oven to 180°C.
- Grease one large loaf tin and line it with parchment paper.
- With a whisk, mix mashed bananas with sugar, Lurpak Slightly Salted Butter, eggs, buttermilk and vanilla extract.
- Sift in the flour, soda bicarbonate and salt. Mix until just incorporated and add in the walnut.
- Pour into the loaf tin and bake for 35-45 minutes until brown. Test with a skewer to make sure its baked.
- Set aside to cool.
- To make the frosting, beat Arla Cream Cheese, icing sugar and vanilla until fluffy and smooth.
- Remove cake from tin and spread frosting on cake.
